Bristol International Balloon Fiesta 2025

The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta 2025 was a significant event, hailed as a great success with four out of six scheduled mass ascents taking place and drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors. The festival, in its 47th year, celebrated the theme "Beyond the Horizon" and featured over 100 balloons, including several new and special shapes.

Our unique "Wednesday Addams" balloon, inspired by the Netflix show, was a popular attraction. Tethering for a total of 17hrs over the 3 day weekend, and operating a meet and greet photo opportunity for the majority of it, it’s safe to say she was the star of the show.

We also took the Organ Donation Balloon with us to help spread their important message to such a large crowd.

New this year were Nightglow sponsors Benchmark Builders, who had their logo emblazoned across our Banner Balloon helping gain attention for the local company. With mentions in the Independent which trickled into numerous local publications around the country.

This year there were two Nightglows, with 25 balloons lighting up to music, and various new activities like an immersive "In the Clouds" experience and a "Flight Control" live landing tracker.

Most news coverage from the event, including BBC News and ITV News, was focused on our team and their efforts particularly on the Friday Evening when both Benchmark and Wednesday Balloons being the only balloons in the arena. They were tethered as a backdrop during the live news broadcasts with our Organ Donation Pilot doing live TV Interviews.
