Kicking off the Send My Bag #FlyingSuitcase Tour.

‍It’s going to be a busy couple of months for us here at Nova Inflatable Advertising as this weekend we have kicked off the Send My Bag #FlyingSuitcase tour. ‍

When approached by advertising agency for the Send My Bag company they had an idea of a giant flying suitcase, made in the company colours and branded with the company’s logo. Here at Nova Inflatable Advertising we were able to help them make this dream into a reality and along with this came more advertising ideas… Let’s get the #FlyingSuitcase to fly over famous landmarks and recognisable destinations… Lets film it for a TV advertising campaign… Lets see if we can set a Guiness World Record by getting it flown in 20 counties before the end of 2026, because we are celebrating our 20th year in business. Now our team here at Nova Inflatable Advertising are helping to make these dreams into a reality!

On the 15th August we began the Northern England part of the tour; we headed up as the weather was looking favourable to be able to begin getting the wanted locations for flying and tethering ticked off the itinerary list – First stop Lake Windermere in the beautiful Lake District. Despite the cloudy and gloomy weather on the day the setting was just as dramatic as it would have been on a clear sky day with the rolling hills, mist and cloud and lush countryside. The crew fling in the balloon had brilliant visibility and were able to see all the way to Blackpool.

On the 16th we took the #FlyingSuitcase across the country to the historic city of York for an evening flight over the city and the famous Yorkminster. Special thanks to our friends at Yorkshire Balloon Flights for helping us get airborne and flying alongside for some great shots. We also attracted the attention form some of the locals who followed the balloon and helped us pack away before some heavy rain arrived.

Our final location, on the 17th, of the Send My Bag #FlyingSuitcase northern England tour took us to The Angel of the North, in Gateshead where the Suitcase would certainly be the right size for her to take a holiday.

Built in 1998 the Angel of North has become one of the most recognisable landmarks in the North of England.

Where will the #FlyingSuitcase appear next? If you would like to talk to us about getting your brand name seen far and wide though Hot Air Balloon advertising them please get in touch with us.
