Two flights in the Netherlands for the #FlyingSuitcase and the Nova Team.

Aug 28

The Nova Inflatable Advertising team have been busy with the Send My Bag #FlyingSuitcase starting of the first leg of the European tour… this week we headed out to the Netherlands where we were able to have two stunning flights from 2 different Hot Air Balloon festival events being held there.

Firstly on the 26th August we attended Ballonfiësta Barneveld, and what a welcome to Holland we received while making our special appearance at the event. We were the last balloon to fly out of the arena in front of a packed-out crowd to a massive cheer. It was a fun and quick flight to kick off this leg of our #FlyingSuitcase European tour. This flight was made more special for our team by locals following us to watch us land and then they helped us to pack away our massive suitcase! Special thank you to all those who helped!

Then on the 27th August we travelled on and the weather held, so we managed to launch from Rien Jurg Promotions BV - RJP Twente Balloon festival on its opening night. We had Bram van der Sluis and Ballooning Noord Photography taking wonderful photos of the #FlyingSuitcase from the ground and a drone. We were also pleased to help Alex Jan Barends get Mister Globie’s travel luggage from one destination to the next, and in Mister Globie’s own words, there are ‘no words needed’ for the photos that have appeared on social media from this flight.

That’s Holland complete for us for now as we are headed off on our way to Denmark to prepare for the Scandinavian leg of the Send My Bag #FlyingSuitcase tour.

Remember if you see the suitcase to use the tag #FlyingSuitcase to see your photos on the specially built Hot Air Balloon page of the Send My Bag website and be a part of the tour. Follow along to see the progress with our Guinness World Record attempt!‍ ‍
